On September 14-15, 2023, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted an international training seminar on "Transport control and the procedure for moving goods under the international road transport procedure", organized jointly with the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation "GIZ".

      The welcoming speech to the participants of the seminar was delivered by: Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Kairat Dzhumagulov and Deputy Chairman of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Selim Kuanyshuly.

      In his speech, Kairat Dzhumagulov noted that proper transport and logistics management is of paramount importance and state control plays a crucial role in protecting the economic interests of our countries and ensuring a reasonable allocation of resources for the benefit of our citizens.

      The seminar was attended by more than 90 officials of territorial divisions of state revenue bodies and transport control inspections, as well as representatives of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

       This seminar provided an opportunity for participants to receive information on the application and compliance with regulatory requirements in the implementation of transport control in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the EAEU and the automation of transport control in the electronic queue system. In addition, issues related to the system of issuing permits in Kazakhstan were discussed.

       The event is the first large-scale seminar in the field of transport control, contributing to the establishment of strong partnerships and collective contribution to global efforts to improve customs and transport administration.

       Following the results of the seminar, the participants successfully passed the test and received certificates of completion of training.
