According to the order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 9, 2024 «№73 «On some issues of the pilot project on labeling and traceability of brewing products», a pilot project on labeling and traceability of brewing products has been launched since February 15, 2024 (pilot project).

The pilot project is voluntary.

The purpose of the pilot project is to test the completeness, effectiveness, efficiency and sufficiency of mechanisms for labeling and traceability of brewing products by means of identification to ensure:

confirmation of the authenticity of brewing products;

countering the illegal importation into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, production and turnover of brewing products;

interaction of participants in the turnover of goods in order to exclude the use of schemes for the turnover and production of brewing products that are not provided for by legislation;

standardization and unification of procedures for accounting for the turnover of brewing products marked with identification means.

The State Revenue Committee calls on manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retailers to take an active part in the pilot project.
