on an emergency situation at the “Kazygurt” customs post

On 12.03.2019 about 10h.00m at the “Kazygurt” customs post of the SRD of Turkestan region "ASTANA-1" IS was partly out of service, in the part of confirming exiting of the goods when they are exported. The reason for the module malfunctioning was unstable operation of the communication channel.

Therefore, by 18h.00m. 12.03.2019 accumulation of 180 vehicles has appeared at the checkpoint.

From 18h.30m. the information system started functioning normally.

To reduce tension, the crossing point was strengthened by additional staff and more than 167 vehicles were registered in the direction of departure. Consulting work with carriers, as well as redirection to other unloaded checkpoints were carried out.

As of 16h.00m. 13.03.2019 taking into account arriving vehicles, 90 vehicles are expecting exiting to Uzbekistan.

In order to avoid creating queues, from November 2018 every day at 9.00. information on the number of vehicles in front of checkpoints to select the route of transportation is posted on the website of the SRD of Turkestan region and social networks.

Also, now for the convenience of carriers in the event of similar congestion, together with the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development and Akimat of Turkestan region, the issue of organization and arrangement of parking lots near checkpoints is being worked out.
